Projects, profiles, and marketplace activity

Trainety is a marketplace. Some information you provide may be visible to other users depending on your role, settings, and platform features.

Publisher project visibility

When a Publisher posts a project, project information may be shown to Providers, including project name, budget range, organization size requirements, organization name, location, category, industry, expertise tags, project details, promotion labels, and update time.

Provider profile visibility

When a Provider turns profile visibility on, profile information may be shown to Publishers through Discover or related features. If visibility is off, the profile is hidden from public discovery flows, subject to technical and operational limitations.

Ranking and recommendations

Trainety may use project information, profile information, selected filters, marketplace activity, promotion level, Signals activity, and Publisher responsiveness to help order, recommend, or display projects and profiles. Promotion may affect visibility, but it does not guarantee clicks, contacts, messages, transactions, or successful cooperation.

Messages and files

Trainety Messages allow Providers and Publishers to communicate after a valid contact flow. We may process message content and message metadata to deliver messages, show conversation history, support unread indicators, manage labels and shortlists, provide reporting tools, prevent abuse, enforce platform rules, and provide support.

Files sent through Messages may be stored and scanned or reviewed for security, abuse prevention, support, or policy enforcement purposes. Do not upload sensitive personal information, confidential credentials, payment card details, government identification, health information, or content you do not have the right to share unless Trainety specifically requests it through a secure flow.

Payments and billing

Trainety may use third-party payment service providers to process payments, subscriptions, payment methods, billing records, Signals purchases, Priority Credits purchases, promotion purchases, and related payment events.

Payment providers may collect and process payment information according to their own terms and privacy notices. Trainety may receive payment status, transaction references, customer references, subscription status, payment method status, billing records, and related information needed to operate payment and billing features.

Trainety does not store full payment card numbers, card security codes, or other raw payment credentials in its own database unless a compliant payment provider flow specifically allows and requires it.

Signals and promotion

Trainety may collect and process information related to Signals, Priority Credits, Subscription promotion, Standard promotion, Priority promotion, contact events, project clicks, promotion balances, promotion settings, and usage history.

Signals are used by Providers to open or strengthen contact with Publishers. Priority Credits are used by Publishers to increase project visibility through Priority promotion. We may use these records to display balances, rank certain conversations or projects, process payments, provide history pages, prevent abuse, and support disputes or accounting needs.

Promotion may affect visibility according to platform rules, but it does not guarantee any specific result.

For legal and compliance reasons

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, court order, government request, tax obligation, accounting requirement, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

However, Trainety may retain some records where necessary for payments, billing, tax, accounting, security, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, reports, moderation, legal obligations, or platform integrity.

Some marketplace records, message records, project records, payment records, audit logs, and support records may not be immediately deleted if they are needed for legitimate operational, security, legal, or compliance reasons.
